Rehabilitation of Dependent People – Solidarnost 2015-2017
“Rehabilitation of Dependent People – Solidarnost” is a three-year project, which is funded by the German organization Renovabis (https://www.renovabis.de/).
The global objective of the activities is to provide the target group (dependent adult people and their families) with services that will result in addiction recovery, improvement of the social and economic situation, the health, legal and family status, to personal growth and to autonomous life and social reintegration in a long-term aspect.
The specific objectives of the project are:
- Information about the psychoactive substances, the addiction and the treatment, and the existing rehabilitation programs in Bulgaria;
- Adequate assessment of the beneficiaries and referral to rehabilitation programs;
- Influence upon the social attitudes towards the dependent people;
- The acquisition of skills for social life and dealing with high-risk situations by the dependent people;
- Support of the parents and relatives so that they can cope with the mechanisms of addiction within the family;
- Continuous support through the evening resocialization program.
