Psychosocial rehabilitation of dependent people 2011-2018

In the period 2011-2018, the National Center for Addictions approves projects of “Solidarnost”, aimed at psychosocial rehabilitation of addicted people in the “drug-free” model. The target group of the projects is adult men and women with diagnosed addiction to psychoactive substances as well as their families and closest ones. The target group is provided with services based on the accessible contemporary models of good practice. The activities are aimed at families in financial distress and are free of charge.

The projects are funded by the National Center for Addictions according to the National Strategy for Fight against Drugs of the Ministry of Health. The activities involve individual, group and family consulting within the therapeutic program. The financing of these activities allows the fee for participation in the program to be reduced by about 40% for the funding period (usually six months) and increases the access of the addicted people and their families to the therapeutic services.
